Human Anatomy Atlas is one of Google Play's Best Apps of 2018

December 3, 2018 — Visible Body announced today that Human Anatomy Atlas was chosen as a Google Play Best of 2018 app. The award, as well as the app's huge rise in popularity on Google Play, reflects the company’s work over the year in releasing a series of updates to the Android anatomy app used by healthcare practitioners, students and, consumers worldwide. Last year, the iPhone/iPad version of the app made Apple’s Best of 2017.

Visible Body’s Human Anatomy Atlas has won “Best of” recognition by Google and Apple.

Human Anatomy Atlas, Visible Body’s flagship product, is reaching more students, instructors, and health professionals than ever before. The updates this year added to the complete male and female virtual anatomy models, and focused on features that were powerful and easy to learn so that—no matter the level of technical experience—customers could install the app and start learning and dissecting 3D models of the human body in mere minutes!

"We've seen a lot of sales growth on Android devices, not just in the college and healthcare professional space, but also from high schools teaching anatomy and physiology as part of a Health Science STEM or STEAM curriculum,” Andrew Bowditch, CEO at Visible Body, says. “Our educational site license is being adopted in many school districts that use Chromebooks. Those site licenses include web access and mobile installs, too.” Bowditch goes on to say how the award speaks to the company’s efforts: "The team here has done a lot of work to make our visual and interactive human body models and animations available on many different platforms and in many different languages. We are so honored to get this award. It shows that the team's work is on track with what customers want!"
