Why change the menu inside Visible Body Suite? The redesign was made with students, instructors, and practitioners in mind: the new menu is more aligned with how users actually learn. The new menu is a more intuitive system that gives users the power to find exactly what they want in VB Suite’s vast library of views, structures, animations, and histology slides using enhanced sorting and filtering capabilities.
In this blog post, we’ll take a tour of the new menu in VB Suite!
The Home tab asks you to choose a topic. Right now, you have three options:
Muscles & Kinesiology
Physiology & Pathology
We’ll dive into each of these later, since they deserve their own sections!
My Library is home to your saved Tours and Favorite Views.
Want to use custom content but you’re not sure how to start? Try making Flashcards! This video will show you how:
Selecting Human Anatomy on the Home menu brings you to a library chock full of anatomy content like gross and microanatomy models and animations. Select Regions, Systems, Pathologies, or Histology to sort the content!
There’s hundreds of options to choose from, which can be overwhelming. That’s where the powerful new filter tool comes in!
You can use the filter to find exactly what you want to see. Type in the desired search term and select the filter icon to the right of the filter bar, then select what kind of content you want to see.
For example, if you want to view microanatomy models, cross sections, and histology slides of the kidney, you can type in “kidney,” filter for those content types, and presto!
