Visible Body Partners with Birthday Wishes to Give Back to Community

As part of its annual “Thanks and Giving” event, Visible Body gave back to the local community this month by working with Birthday Wishes.

Founded in 2002, Birthday Wishes is a nonprofit organization that provides birthday parties for children in homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters, and other transitional housing situations. By providing families with the supplies they need for a birthday celebration, Birthday Wishes helps combat the uncertainty and stress that comes with homelessness.

On November 6th, two dozen Visible Body employees put a pause on creating life sciences solutions to visit Birthday Wishes’ New England office, a short drive away from our own main office.

Through the "Birthday-in-a-Box" program, the team packed party supplies donated by Visible Body. Each brightly-wrapped box of joy contains party items such as themed plates and napkins, cake mix, and birthday candles.

Visible Body is proud to give back to the community through Birthday Wishes, which helps over 26,000 homeless children a year in over 200 homeless shelters in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New York.
