Visible Body’s Social Media Campaign Receives Gold at the 2018 Davey Awards

Newton, Massachusetts — October 30, 2018 — Visible Body announced today that their 2018 Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram  content received a Gold Davey Award for Integrated Social Media Campaign.

The Davey Awards focus exclusively on honoring outstanding creative work from the best small shops worldwide. They are judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA). Derek Howard, the Executive Director of the AIVA, says “This season of the Daveys has once again put the outstanding work that comes from small shops across the globe on display. We are proud to showcase those who utilize flawless execution, groundbreaking technology, and a fresh approach to the thought process to generate amazing content.” Of the 3,000 entries the 14th Annual Davey Awards received, only about 10% received a Gold Award.

The Integrated Social Media Campaign category is new to the Davey Awards as of this year, and recognizes advertising and marketing campaigns using more than one form of social media promoting goods, services, causes, or companies. Visible Body’s Human Anatomy Atlas 2019 was recognized for excellent content on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

The team at Visible Body is honored and excited to share the news with the community they are part of on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. "It's because people across the world engaged with our content and campaigns that the social media program grew," said Maite Suarez-Rivas, who leads the marketing team. "We want to be in constant conversation with the healthcare professionals, anatomy students and instructors who, like us, spend a lot of time talking about anatomy and physiology." She noted that a handful of social media channels, like Instagram and Facebook, have been a great place for the team to share its enthusiasm for human anatomy and information about 3D products.
