Autograded Labs in Courseware

See how it works

What is the Autograded Labs Course?

No lab space? No time? No problem! We’ve done the work for you and created a virtual A&P lab course in Courseware.

Each folder of assignments in the course is a unit based on a topic covered by one of Visible Body’s fillable PDF lab manuals (see below for a complete list). The general structure of one of these units is as follows:

  • Pre-lab learning modules and multiple-choice quizzes
  • Lab activity (virtual dissection quizzes)
  • Post-lab learning modules and multiple-choice quizzes integrating physiology

This sequence of assignments is designed so that students can prepare for lab, conduct virtual dissections of key structures, see how key physiology concepts figure in, and test their knowledge.

All the quizzes report their results to the Gradebook, saving instructors valuable time. (No more grading labs late into the night!) These quizzes are also part of the Visible Body Quiz Bank, so you can customize them and add them to courses you’ve created, too!
